ok so heres what happened i purchased an ek 4 door beatt from my boss it had a vtec d16y8 no manifold harness ecu ... typical molestation for my area anyways i purchased the manifold p2p and harness for vtec i plugged everything in and the car wouldnt start at all now the ecu had a blocker on the corner plug the little gray one now when i plugged the harness into the old ecu the p2e the car starts but runs rediculous heres a few pics to relate to previous statemennts sorry for spelling and grammer im just frazzled this is my daily and im screwed as far as money after purchasing these parts i just want the car to run right thanks

 

what year is the car? only a 96-98 harness will work with a 96-98 ecu. 99-00 harness's and 99-00 ecu's have different pin out locations. you need to tell us what u bought and what it came from. what does year does the ecu have on it; most ecus have that stamped on them? so if u have a 98 harness and ur running a 99 ecu its not going to work they must match. as i see that ecu is for a 99-00 and is a 5 speed ecu. looks like u have a 96-98 harness. BUY THE CORRECT ECU

yea try going back to the stock ecu

 

thats what ive done car runs like a crazed animal but itll do im actually going to jump from obbd2 to 1 and run a chipped ecu tomorrow death to sensors lol
