So I used some engine degreaser on my engine bay the other day and now I am having issues with the motor. I used some GUNK engine degreaser (original). Covered my intake system and sprayed down motor then waited the 10 min and rinsed off. Now the car idols extremely ruff and spuders like crazy until I get above 2000 rpm. After that it stops and every thing runs fine until i drop down below 2000 rpm again. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is their some sensor that has been effected by the degreaser. I thought it would dry out and just go away but its been several days now and I have put over 80 miles on it.

 

Try checking your spark plug holes cause it did that to me when I had my engine detailed one time and they said to pull the wires out leave the hood open and in sunlight and it would dry out when I did that it ran fine after that

did you cover the dizzy ?

 

take you dizzy cap off you have water inthere

 

and if i was water in it let it sit in the sun and take out the moister out and if it still doesn't work change the ignition coil
