Default rmf header and greddy turbo 3' catback

okay guys I have a 1.8 l na built gsr. I am now going for the exhaust. I have a rmf replica header and a 3 inch greddy turbo catback... how would I connect this? do I have to get a custom test pipe made by a muffler shop or what?

also I want to make my cometic headgasket a 2 layer. which layer do I remove?

yes, more than likely and you're better off modifying a stock headgasket by removing the middle layer after you drill out the rivets.

Top and bottom, you can spray the outside of the top and bottom (not where they join together) before you install it for extra insurance. The stock headgasket is 82mm bore fyi.

You can find an adjustable test pipe and if the flanges don't match you can cut/weld.

i could not find a 82mm stock hg anywhere. 81mm is stock and 81.5 is the biggest i ever saw i believe.

anyways I paid almost $100 for the cometic and I don't want to go out and buy another. can I go to 2 layers with this one also?

Sell your cometic as it may be thicker than stock, what is it? Just pick up a stock head gasket which are all 82mm bore incase the customer wants to go oversize on the bores like you are.

as of right now. I will be keeping the cometic. I am planning on removing 2 layers and maybe keep a one layer. I have a resurfaced head and block (first time for both)... pr3 pistons (82mm) and flat valves in a complete gsr motor. do you guys think it is safe to do a 1 layer? what will my comp be at. it says 12.2 (compression calculator) but thats not adding the resurface and the flat valves. what do you guys think?
