Default changed transmission in 1991 accord now it turns over but wont start

hi all this is my first post and also first honda that ive worked on, so heres the deal i was asked to change the transmission in a 1991 honda accord 2.2, it was trailered to me with some things already dismantled, and the "arts" and transmission in the trunk.
i was able to swap out the tranny and reconnected all the items that i hadnt taken off all except the steering pump which was not there, anyways i found a battery to test the vehicle"also missing", and it turns over fine and shifts through the gears and has spark but i cant hear the fuel pump turn on when i key on the car and there is no smell of fuel on the plugs. i checked all the visible fuses but none of the larger relays, what can be the cause of this and where should i start, ...maybe a test for power to the pump
any hel would be great ive been given compensation already and want the car outa my shop and to see if the trans is good. ill be up late tonight messing so lease stop in and rely

No fuel usually caused by bad main relay. It is located under the driver side dash. That would be my first guess. You can usually tell a bad relay by pulling off the housing and if the soder is in the shape of a hill rather than having a point at the top. You can easily test this by putting in a new relay, turning the key to the on position, and listening for the pump to kick on. Hope this helps you out!

well I tested the voltage accross the leads on the wires going to the fuel pump and best I got was 5.6-7v so I'm thinking the relay is bad, just so I can confirm this will someone just say yea dude the pump isn't the prob if u only getting 5 +v w key on and that's your main relay!

Your dropping about 6 volts somewhere. Could be the main relay could be something else like a corroded connector. Is the remaining voltage drop on the positive or negative side of the fuel pump?
