I need f22b help
Sooo, I got my motor today and went at it.
This thing is going to be going in a 92 Prelude and there are a few differences so far.
Number one. . . What is the diaphragm thing and what is the sensor to the right of it?

Number two. . . I have a MAP sensor on the firewall, what do I do with this one?

Number three. . . I wanted to remove the balancer shaft belt. But, isn't this on the right the oil pump?

1. That is the IAB vacuum diaphragm. It opens/closes at a certain RPM if you have it connected to the black vacuum box which gets connected to the ecu. Just connect it to a vacuum source. The sensor to the right is the IAT(intake air temp). Yours looks broken, replace it with any honda OBD1 IAT.
2. Use your stock map sensor and plug that hole up. Or make life difficult and use the tb map sensor and rewire your map sensor wiring harness for that style plug.
3. That is the rear balance shaft, not the oil pump. That gear is attached to the oil pump housing. The oil pump is driven by the timing belt/crank.

Anyone else? Will I have any issues if I don't connect the intake diaphragm? It seems to just control a set of butterflies that close off half of the intake for some reason.
