I'm 6'3" and I have absolutely no headroom in my teg. Are there any aftermarket seats out there with a lower seating height than stock? Or is there anyway I can modify the stock seats to sit lower?

Please help. My back is killing me...

 

the s2000 seats sit lower than stock and look a hellalot better!

actually..i am 6"1 and have corbeau carreras in my car. much more legroom for sure..i dont kno bout headroom sorry

 

I have Del Sol seat's in my 96 Integra.. and they are about 2.5" lower than stock...


As long as you are tall you shouldn't have to much of a problem, altho now no matter where I put the steering wheel I can't see all of the gauages..

 

wait until you get into autox and have to wear a helmet.

 

i hear ya man.... im 6'3" and i have to getto ride it with the seat tilted back... buess im used to it but im not gonna replace my leather seats though

 

i have to do the same thing and im 6'5"...im use to it already but its a biatch getting in and out of mu car...i actually have more head room in my crx...

There is a guy on here username is like mattsomething and he modified his leather seats in his gsr to make it sit lower. I wish I knew what the directions were. I tried a search for it but it aint coming up. I know it was like in the beginning of the year. Hopefully he'll see this post and help us out. I don't wanna ever get rid of my leather seats!

 

what about recaro's or sparco's cant you fiddle with those ***** and make sink in and sit a little lower???

 

If the stock seats can be modified to sit lower, than I rather save the money and go that route. Anyone know how?

 

Best way is to just take the seat off and examine the track system. see if there is a way to flip em around or upside down, maybe even remount the track portion that is on the seat to make that part higher (thus making the seat sit lower in relation to the track)

sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty
