just changed my engine from a gsr to a b20 vtec in my 2000 civic

my issue is when i try to start it it will only fire once and then thats it and i can keep doing that but if i take any 1 spark plug out the head the car will start and idle right at 1000 rpm im lost on this and need help in a bad way

i have checked the timing and thats fine it has spark on all 4 cylinders and is getting gas

 

Just throwing it out there, It could be the distributer. My car has done something similar to that and I am pretty sure it was the dizzy.

Oh I know, me either. Try and see if you have a friend or something that would let you try theres, most of the hondas are kinda universal. Mine gets spark and then sometimes it'll just cut out, but it maybe just a part like the rotor or cap on the dizzy.

 

Has your car ran correctly at all after the swap or is this since? Have you checked your timing? Throwing any CEL's?

its only throwing code 91 but that wont make it do what its doing and op says i have checked the timing and since i did the swap this is what its doing

 

did obd1 jumper to p28 and still nothing
