Default electric turbo???

Hey everybody I'm new to this but what do u guys think about a eletric turbo made by gte performance for a 98 v6 accord?? Is it worth buying or what's up???

Indeed. In short, you'll never be able to provide it with enough power efficiently to make power.

I'd use the time you now won't be using to install that scam of a product to make sure all your maintenance is up to date.

Especially for your prone-to-failure automatic.

Nope.
The electrical system requirements needed to produce any kind of power enhancing boost would first need to be added to the car, added weight. A larger or multiple alternators and batteries to maintain and feed the electrical motor for said supercharger. Along with heavy cabling to feed the power.

Simply remove the added complexity of the electrical side of the compressor motor, and have it mechanically attached to the engine via a pulley(super charger), or driven off the exhaust gases(turbo charger).

If it was worth doing, automotive manufactures would have done it years ago. Contrary to popular belief, automotive engineers are intelligent.

^BMW is experimenting with this right now, but it's probably more of a publicity stunt like most hybrids. What we really need is an aftermarket KERS! Right? Right?
