Default ATTN: thermal and apex'i ws exhaust owners

just want some personal opinions on these exhausts... i currently have a tanabe g power, but its time for something different... main reason being i'm tired of looking at that big fat fart can tip and want somethign quieter, although it sounds sweet as hell. i think i'm leaning more towards the apex ws exhaust right now... anyone know where i can get the best deal? i remember ppl buying the full catback for like $380 shipped or something

this is a normal account of mine, i ll be offering them as long as i have an open account with them. Prices will float plus minus 20 bucks or so, depending on specials and time frame. I can guarentee that it wont ever be $380 like Apexi and other dealers. Available is Aluminzied and Stainless Steel. full kit with or without muffler. Resonators and test pipes also. Email me for current pricing and more picutres. Thanks

MIKE

The Apexi WS is nice for a quiet tone, but if you plan on going H22 at some point go for something with better high end power gains. I would suggest going custom or go for a Thermal cat-back.

is the thermal exhaust really that loud???
i did a search and all the integra guys were complaining about their thermal exhaust being too loud. what size is the thermal for accords? 2.25" or 2.5"? seems like most of the integ guys are using 3"

i have heard thermel cat-backs on both a b16 and an h22... niether were very loud. they have a very deep tone. mine will probably be louder than just a thermel cat-back tho, because im using not using a cat. they probably list sizes on there site at http://www.thermelrd.com actually i just looked and they dont list any sizes, email em and grill em.

i got my apex ws cat-back for 389.25 shipped. Sounds great, fits fine except for the b pipe sorta hits the heat shield. Nothing hard to fix though. The site i got it at is http://www.aieonline.com . E-mail him and tell him you heard of him from honda-tech forums and he should bring the price down a little. Well thats what i did and thats what the person that i saw the site listed on said.

I have a thermal on my Accord. In "race" configuration, sans cat and 2.5" collector pipe, the exhaust note can be a bit loud when above 5,000rpm. It's a BEAUTIFULLY deep tone. Not buzzy. Best exhaust I've ever had! Excellent quality. I bought it because I wanted dual tips instead of a a large single tip.

so it isn't too loud when below 5k? how about when you're driving on the fwy??
yeah... thats the same reason why i wanna get rid of my tanabe g power... it sounds great and all, but i want something a bit more subtle looking

and kteller8, how much for 2.25" piping w/o muffler?
