Icon2 93 del sol has a few issues need help

i have a 93 del sol 1.6 vtec with a short ram intake the rest is stock. the issues im having is that when mid day the car will start hiccuping really hard about 1/2 -3/4 way home on the interstate doing 80 and once it starts it will continue and get worse no matter what speed or gear. i usally have to press in clutch and cut the engine while i coast turn it on after a few seconds and i kick start the car it will go away for some varying time but start again. other issue is that unless my car is idleing at about 950 -1000 rpm my oil light will start rapidly flashing and go away when given gas or driving. i replaced the radiator, water pump, wires, head gasket, intake gasket, exaust gasket last weak...plugs where fine and all. was getting a cel for the vtec and iat but i just replaced both and now no cel when this occurs (every day). also my be unrelated but upon turning car on in the morning car wont fire over and pump wont prime with a solid cel. i litterly have to wait for the car to want to start by waiting for the pump to prime then cel turns off and instantly starts and drives with a small lack of power. like i cant get past 5k rpm in 4th doing 80-85. vtec still dosnt seem to kick in either. thanks for any help

yea had the battery off the whole time durring the head gasket change, and this was happening before i did that repair. just noticed today that when this occurs the temp will go to about 3/4 to hot then soon as i restart the car with the coasting it will instantly return to normal below 1/2 and stay there till it messes up again
