Default Starting Problems / 93 Del Sol SI HELP!!

So heres the story, I have a 93 Del Sol Si and Im having a weird starting problem that I can not figure out. The issue is that it takes about 30min for the fuel pump to actually activate or turn on from the time of putting the car in the on position. I know this because the check engine light stays on and if you wait in the car *for about 20 to 30min, out of no where you will see the cel light turn off and you will hear the pump kick on. Once the pump turns on and I start the car it drives great and I have no problems until I turn it off again. I've tried a different main relay and this did not fix the problem. As a side note I do notice other odd electrical quirks. Such as the turn signals delay sometimes to kick on.

Now this car has been sitting for a while and I only drive it more as a weekend car on nicer days. Its been outside in the elements and del sols are known for their leaking. So maybe water got in somewhere to the electrical causing these issues? I have no idea at this point if anyone can give some guidance or any info at all it would be much appreciated.

And just because everyone loves pictures, heres a pic of the car as it sits now. And I forgot to add, this is a stock d16 no work done other than just bolt ons.

I've thought about this before but I unfortunately don't know anyone I could swap ecu's with. Even though I do have a automatic civic with a p28, even though I know automatic ecu's are different would I be able to hook it up at least to see if the pump would turn on?

I have a similar problem sometimes with my '95 del sol, except its not the fuel pump its my stereo... I'm about 98% sure its a problem with the fuse or fuse box or something because I can sometimes jiggle the fuse box and it will come on and stay on fine. I'd check all your fuses and connections. goodluck, I'd hate to have to wait 30 minutes just to drive my car.

and BTW... if you are in north jersey why didn't you come to BOOSTS meet!?! you must be right there... there were only 2 del sols myself included, it would have been nice to see another sol owner.

I will look into the fuse box and see if anything happens... I prob will try the automatic ecu that I have available and see if my pump will turn on or not just to test it. I'm actually not to far from Garden State but haven't been messing with the del sol to much its been tucked away for the winter. I'm just starting to work on it now that its getting nicer out.

Well if you have a stock d16, you could get a 92-95 civic p28 auto ecu out of an EX
