Default Spark Plugs

Anyone know which spark plugs are good for a 93 h22a.
Also, my car has trouble starting, takes a few tries before it does start in the morning, but once it's started, it'll be fine for the rest of the day, until it sits for a long time, any idea?

NGK are really the best spark plugs for your car....You might wanna check your starter, plug wires, or your spark plugs, cause that may be causing your car to hesistate when first starting

That's what i thought! Just go with the ngk platinums that are made for yours, i think it's the zfr6 something....or the coppers, the only difference is that you'll have to replace the coppers more often, cheaper though!

Platinum plugs are a ripoff(12 bucks a plug). Just get some NGK V-power plugs(2 bucks a plug)

If you find you're melting the tips away (even with a cooler heat range) go with an Iridium spark plug (Denso, NGK makes one to). One of the guys who raced in the Motorola cup kept frying the tips off the platinium plugs. If you're not having this problem, stick with a cheaper plug.

go with ngk platinums ( g-power) , these are cheap and can be found at canadian tire. stick with heat rating 6 or 7. i run the 7's.
$8.50/pair CDN.
i'd avoid the non-plat v-power stuff. i know 4th gens call for platinums only, i'm certain 5th gens require platinums too.
Ngk Iridium plugs are also quite cheap at canadian tyre at $19~$20/pair CDN.
avoid the bosche platinums. they are crap and don't work well with our honda's.
i've melted off the tips in about 2.5months.

Get the NGK cooper plug and save money. Your not going to melt no damn tip off the plugs, if your running stock, or a mild setup I/H/E.. If you do you got some major issues with you combustion chamber, like running super lean, for your setup.

Can someone give me the EXACT part # for the NGK's for an H22a4. My local parts store don't stock them.

And how about a plug that's one step colder? What's the part # for that one too? Thanx!

I can get you the part numbers later today. In fact we have a groupbuy going on NGK plugs and other things right now on groupbuycenter.

If you need really good plugs then use BRISK PREMIUM spark plugs (LGS).
