hello poeple i got a 93 accord ex and a strange problem with the charging system when the car is at idle everything is fine and when i drive it the battery light will come on and off i have replaced the alternator and i still have this problem i have checked out the battery cables they are fine the belt is as tight as it will go so if any one knows whats going on please can you help me out

 

I know you said, you've replaced the battery with a new one, but out of curiousity, I'd use a multimeter just to see what it puts out for Voltage across the battery terminal. Should be 14+v

 

i replaced the alternator and its puting out 14.14 v back to the battery ats why i dont understand why the light is coming on and off when i drive give it gas the lights on let off the gas lights off!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Check your grounds if you haven't already..
It could be a faulty diode in your alternator

 

as i said its a new alternator i guess everyone else like me is in the dark but i know some one on here knows whats going on here

 

There's probably a short to power somewhere then? I don't get it. I need to see the wiring diagram in order to know what I'm trying to deal with.
