what is this green plug on the back of this ex cluster?

Default what is this green plug on the back of this ex cluster?

so i just swapped out my auto dx cluster for a 5spd ex one. am i right in thinking the green plug from the dx was for the auto gear indicator? but whats the one on the ex? its completely different and all the gauges seem to be working as is without it plugged in.

Somebody who knows for sure will chime in Stop, but it may be for cruise control , I think. I swapped a few clusters myself , and some had them , and some not. The yellow plug is for the SRS system......

the new cluster is from a 98 ex 5spd. car is 97 dx with auto harness.

right, i assumed this already, my other question above was what is the green connector for on the 5sp ex's cluster. its a smaller connector.

I just swapped out a 96 dx manual cluster for an ex auto one. figured from what I read there would be another plug for the tach behind the cluster. was worried when I couldn't find one. so I hooked it up anyway and voila! the tach worked using the same 3 plugs the old cluster used.

It's the shift up indicator light that you don't have.

Is it a small green connector, next to a small yellow connector on the bottom of the cluster? Usually the green is for the cruise and the yellow for srs, could you take a picture of the back of your cluster?
