OBD2 B16 -- can a throttle body sensor make a car run slow
i installed a skunk 2 throttle body and i cant get it to the stock spec and the car runs like slow sometime it runs good but the check engine lights stay on
the code are air idel control and throttle body sensor first the air idel control code pop up and ran slow and stupid and now the throttle body sensor.. and seriously if the check engine lights come on doesnt make the car go slow all the time it some time make it run rich and better duhh..
More fuel does NOT mean its going to make your car faster.

Your throttle position sensor? From when I installed it theres only one way to put it on. And if you bought a skunk 2 tb it is already calibrated. Find out your cel code, fix it, and it will not run sluggish.

the skunk 2 throttle body came with no sensor meaning no map or throttle body sensor and i put on all the sensor but the throttlebody sensor might be wrong bcuz i couldnt get it to stock spec...
You need to calibrate output voltages from the TPS. Also immediately pull the CEL codes. Click the CEL link in my signature.
ok i cant find the jumper wire so i used my obd 2 scanner tool and the code are tps and air idle control...
ok so this is what i did changed to a brand new air idle control and the adjust the tps.
this is how i did it turn the car to on position adjust w.o.t 4.50v and closed was 0.32 volts. and i turn the car on and it was still the same 0.32 i adjust the idle screw on the throttle body and no luck am i doing something wrong?

Or are the codes now gone?

i pulled off the battery cable so the codes is gone but will return in a few days ..
so let me get this rite i gotta check voltage at closed first then w.o.t and not at w.o.t then closed idle?
ok imma try closed first then w.o.t

How are you adjusting your TPS?
an .45v closed and 4.5v WOT is probably the best you will be able to get.
just askin; you did change the TB gasket with a new one when you installed the Sk2 TB, yea?
