Ebay OBX Racing Headers Tri Y b18c, too low? (pics)
Hi i was wondering if you all think these headers sit too low to the ground, i would hate to break my flange off. Or is this a normal aftermarket/Ebay pile o crap fitment. I am ok w/ it, but i am getting 3" back put on soon and i wanted to make sure.
Plus there are no pictures of obx r racing tri y headers for b18c on the internet so here they are.

does not fit w/ h brace

JEEZE thats alot of photos.

Then that would weaken the structural rigidity of the part. You might as well not even put it on. I installed my brace on my hatch with stock exhaust because it wouldn't clear the downpipe on my coupe. I wasn't about to try and modify the brace to fit.
Weird how no one caught the problem here. Notice were the slip joint connect. Your problem is that you tightened it to hard wich is causing it to be pulled toward the ground because there are no bolts on the top of the pipes. Untighten those bolts and se if the collector would go up. Also if you have access to a welder. I would weld those collector joints how you want them to sit at what ever height. Hopefully OP gets what i am saying. I had the same issue with my hytech knock of small tube tri-y header.

Nope. The exhaust holds on those rubber things so all its gonna do it putt it down. And then all of the exhaust will be all weird looking plus the muffler in the back will be pointing up a lill.
What motor do you have? If you have a B16, then it would make perfect sense since the B16 has a shorter deck height and the exhaust will sit lower as a result.
The only fix would be getting a header that fits, or cutting the header and using a little persuasion to make it fit.
