Well I finally got another LUDE...
I got a 94 Prelude VTEC from...........SOUTH DAKOTA. That is 1200+ miles from my home in the Seattle area! I flew over there with Jeff (pyrochaos38 ) and drove it home 1200 miles just about straight through too, and I had never even seen a picture of the car. Everyone I talked to just about thought I was crazy.... but it seems to be all worth it now. I'm so glad to be driving another 4G VTEC, and my ideal one at that. Its Azure-Blue green (just like my last one), with black leather (my 95 had tan...I like black better). All stock. Seems to run pretty good.
So I now own two azure blue-green 4th gen VTEC's. I can part out my last one now for any of you interested in some parts.
Just to let all of you know, the 4th gen Prelude VTEC is the THE BEST PRELUDE EVER MADE. I thought about buying many different cars over this "downtime" I suffered and I came back to get another one. You don't realize how great they are until you go without one. Seriously, it is the best car I can think of for the money. It is great in so many areas. It's the total package. Thanks for listening to me start to ramble. But I have much love for these cars. They are a great find.

Dude, CONGRATS!! I am having serious withdraw of turning my streetcar into a racecar, yes, I love it, its wicked fast, but I only get to drive it once every 5-6 weeks or so, and it drives me nuts..
My next vehicle will probably be a newer tow vehicle, even though I REALLY want to get another 4th gen, hell, I would settle for an SI...

Nice! It seems like just the other day I remember seeing you post about wanting to find another BG vtec. Glad you found one!
I could not agree more, this car is a total package. My prelude is superior to my itr in so many ways, but don't tell the itr guys that! I really would like to keep it forever.
Props for flying 1200miles for the car, that's true dedication. Is it stock?
So what are you parting out, the whole car? I could use a driverside fender, and maybe some other minor stuff. Maybe we can work something out.

thanks! Yeah the new prelude is all stock. I just changed the oil last night. I plan on parting out "most" of the old car. I really can't entertain offers just yet cuz I am incredibly busy right now and soon I'll be parting over some things from the old car to the new lude...probably just aftermarket things. But I'd like to have all the parts available in case I need any of them.
Illusion: I can probably sell that to you. Might be a a couple weeks. I just want to get my new Prelude fixed up and then I can get rid of all I have that's left over.

Congrats on the 94..... I'm selling mine right now and I think I have it deliberately priced high so maybe I won't have to sell it. I don't know what I'll do if it does sell.
