Default AEM Digital boost gauge install

I just ordered the AEM digital boost gauge and I have a question.

The gauge comes with a 3.5 bar map sensor. I have a GM 3 bar map sensor that my tuner installed while tuning. Can I wire the gauge to the current sensor I have installed or will I need to install the sensor that comes with the AEM gauge?

As well if I was to switch to the AEM 3.5 bar sensor can it break my tune?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum guys but I figured the tuning experts could answer my questions.

Thanks.

Install the sensor that comes with the gauge. Install the gauge per the instructions that came with it.

Thanks for the answer. I will hold off on installing the gauge since the tuner is from the US and I'm in Canada. I'd rather not break my tune.

This may be a dumb question but would there be a way to wire wire in both map sensors? This way I could use the 3 bar solely for the existing setup, and use the aem 3.5 bar strictly for the gauge? Is this possible?

Yes, you simply will have two map sensors on the vehicle.
One for the engine management & one for the gauge.
