blower motor

Default blower motor

I have Honda civic 1.7 ctdi and have a problem with blower not working.the fan works if direct 12v given but no power coming through the wires connecting the blower.Can anybody help ?

For a second there I thought you a D17 with a blower on it. Possible blown fuse or loose connection.

Thanks husky but fuse is fine and not loose
.(It Wasn't Me) your links seems good and i will go through them.However can one repaper the resistor? I wish i had seen it earlier but being new to the site i am not quite sure how to go about it, but getting there slowly.Thanks once again.

I assume you're referring to the power transistor. Click the following links from the FAQ's..

Many thanks for the ones who tried to help, I finally sorted it out by changing the fan resistor second hand though.I was told all models from 2001 to 2005 civic use the same resistor and i took a chance and changed it off a 20020model and it is working fine.Thanks guys.

By the way it only costed me £30 instead of £120 quoted by Honda garage.
