Icon4 My '98 Civic LX

Hello everybody!

Just joined the forum.
Found the forum from google search when looking to buy Kosei rims from my '98 Civic LX. Don't have the rims, yet. I'll leave this upgrade for later.
Also the forum poped-up when I was looking for info about rear sway bar to fit on my sedan. Still looking for 15mm OEM rear sway bar from Del Sol (VTEC) or CRX Si, or might get the thinner 14.7 from Integra.

This is my second Civic. Before I had '94 LX (D15B7), but a guy hit me and I decided that was not worthed to repair the car and sold it. Also the D15B7 was burnin about a quart of oil per 3K miles. The old Civic was with Tokiko HP shocks and springs, about 1.5-2" lower. K&N filter and NKG iridium.

Now I go occasionally to race the Civic on autoX events. Just replaced the brake fluid, clutch fluid and put new NGK spark plugs.

Nothing special about either car. I used the first Civic and the present too primary for daily driving.

I found valuable info on the forum and like that is very active!
Greetings!

Welcome. As this is exclusively a technical forum, member introduction alone threads are generally closed. However, if you initiate some tech discussion about your current Civic, such as build plans and/or technical problems you need help solving, this thread can stay open.

Ohh, I definitely will initiate some tech discussion building plans.
Just got a 15mm rear sway bar from Del Sol (vtec) andalso planing to put set of 205/50 on 15x7 rims. I was thinking about 225 on the front and 205 on the rear, but then I decided that 205 all around will be better for my current needs.

Also I am accepting suggestions on a cheap suspension set.

Az I said I use the car for a DD and don't want to get crazy with mods.
I don't have the funds either.

Follow your dreams! ;-)
