Well my Eg hatch equipped with an LS V has been down for 4 months now. But before i went into construction, the motor was running fine nothing was wrong, i made sure everything was perfect before i began starting on the project. Okay so now everything is back together, never took the motor apart. So as i crank it, it turns over but no start. But when i add starter fluid it starts up a bit then dies. I have cel code 16 (fuel injection) and 22 (vtec pressure switch). Fuel primes clearly. Did wire tuck, and thinking it was the wires that i messed up i took everything apart and checked all the soldering but nothing was wrong or loose. I was thinking that it could be the valve cover ground not having enough ground to power the injectors. Idk, any thoughts? Thanks.

 

Do all four fuel injector clips have battery voltage with the key in ON(II)?

 

Yup. but what i dont get is that im not getting spark from my distributor. Changed the guts in the distributor and still the same results. But it cranked up before and started for a second then died. Tried the distibutor on my friends car and works just fine.

 

This^ indicated that you had spark.

 

now im throwing code 6 and 15. tried the dizzy on my friends car and it works. idkkk wierd.

 

Code 15 suggests you had a bad igniter unit.

 

Nvm figured it out, changed out the whole harness starts up fine.
