^ what he said if there is oil on the flywheel that could be coming from the rear main seal have you noticed if your clutch was slipping at all. If oil gets on the friction material it could cause slippage. How many miles are on the car and did you replace it with a cast oil pan or steel oil pan reason i ask is cast does not have a rubber gasket your suppose to run a bead of silicone around it it it is steel it should have a rubber gasket.

does any body have information about this oil pan installation ?
Did you follow the proper torque sequence when you installed the new gasket?

Finger tighten 1 - 6, then do the rest of them as noted in the illustration.
How long after you installed the new gasket did you wait to add oil? You should have waited at least half an hour.
Also, there are spots on the gasket which you're supposed to add liquid gasket to before you install it. Did you do that? If not, that's probably why it's leaking.

Well if the car is running I would assume that the flywheel would fling it everywhere possibly getting it around the front side of the flywheel. If it's leaking I would just re-do the install and see if that fixes it. Drain the oil get a new gasket clean both matting surfaces really good make sure there is no left over liquid gasket or oil. Then re-install using a new gasket and I believe your suppose to put liquid gasket only on the the corners of the pan not sure on that then re-torque them in that sequence and wait to fill with oil for 30 min to an hour and see if that fixes it.
