Replacing Alternator
Alright, I need some help here guys, I got the alternator all unscrewed and disconnected from the mounts so it can be moved around, but I can't get it out of the bay to install the new one. I do not want to take off the axle, or any other difficult parts, so is there another way to do this? Any help is appreciated thanks.
thees a piece of plastic in the wheel wel u remove that and then u can get it out ferom there its really easy i tried for 2 days to get the darn thing out then i saw someone said to try that and boom 5 min later i felt like an idiot
What kind of Integra do you drive? I've got a 91 LS and was able to drop the alternator out the bottom by unbolting and swinging down the intermediate shaft bracket (didn't have to remove intermediate shaft, just move the bracket).
I've never thought about removing the fender liner, I may try that next time.
