Default Timing Belt

I was curious if there is anyway to know if a timing belt has been changed? I was asked and figured I would ask here as I typically have documentation. She has a 99 civic with 120K miles and she received it used. Any ideas?

Default Re: Timing Belt

Unless you have definitive documentation, just replace it because a timing belt that slips or snaps risks major engine damage.
