A/C GETS WARM AND FAN SLOWS 2003 CIVIC EX
MY daughters 03 civic a/c went out last year. Just replaced the compressor, dryer, expansion block. Cools fine but the compressor wouldnt shut off, so I cut the wire to the switch on the dryer and installed a switch on the inside. Took a trip over the weekend (about 90 degrees out side), and about one hour in the air started getting a little warmer and the fan slowed. Turned the air off, and when she turned it back on,
it was fine. On the way back the same thing. I asked if she was running the max, and she said yes. I had her turn max off and it worked fine the rest of the trip.
Souds like the evaporator is freezing up. Any Ideas?
