Default CODE 43 (fuel system problem)

ok so here is my dilemma. for the last couple weeks i have had an intermittent code 43 (fuel system problem).
Car info:
1990 crx dx (complete si harness swap over)
95 B18B1 w/95 B16A3 head
-GSR cable trans (dont think that matters)
-97 spec usdm ITR ex manifold
- 1st gen skunk2 intake manifold w/JDM ITR TB
-JDM B16 stock intake

now i have done the following to try and remedy the problem:
- brand new o2 sensor (did some research and found o2 sensor to be the most common problem) changed out 3 times, still no fix
- brand new o2 sensor wiring (complete engine harness to be exact).
- switched back to stock ecu (was running a chipped p28)
- 3 different distributors (reman swaped under warranty)

i have a band new set of injectors (Accel 255cc, slightly higher than stock, made for obd2 B18C). would i have an issue running these injectors on a stock ecu, seeing as they are slightly higher rating than stock, or should i use my chipped ecu? i have a buddy using my chipped one so i can get it back anytime. im also going to replace all my vacuum hoses while im at it.

thanks in advance.

I would check the fuel pressure and test the injectors ohms.
Then make sure all the connections to the ecu are good. (wiring going into the ecu plugs for o2 sensor.)

Have an ecu jumper right now that I got from my buddy a while back. I'm waiting on some parts to come in so I can build myself a new one. Those should be in today, so hopefully that will fix it.

When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?
If you havent, it wouldnt hurt to replace.
I recently did mines cuz i was getting the same code, and afterwards, it had soooo much more power and torque.
Its crazy what a huge difference an unclogged fuel filter will make.

I think it's been over a year. I guess it couldn't hurt since I'm going to open up the fuel system and swap in new injectors anyway.

Nope. I'm waiting for my buddies friend to give me back my chipped p28, so I can run my 255cc injectors and not be afraid of running rich.

I'm building a new ecu jumper today to see if it fixes the problem.

Please let me know if you got it fixed. We have a crx that has the same code but OBD0. stumped on this one. we swapped out injectors and o2. it has been 1 year since we touched it and that is the only problem we cant get rid of...=(

This morning before I wen to work I decided to change my spark plugs. Took out the NGK iridium plugs and swap in some standard NGK G-Power platinum plugs. Upon removing them I found this in cylinder #1 (closest to timing belt)...

Replaced all 4 an she seems to be driving alot smoother than before. So now it's a waiting game, I hope this was the problem.

update: cruising on the freeway today the CEL came back on, but not for a code 43. this time it was a code 1 (o2). which i was expecting seeing that the car was misfiring, and would cause the o2 sensor to go bad. so ill be swapping that out in the next couple days. and if all goes well, she will hopefully be fixed.

update.....
i went the lazy route. i know i know, i ordered an ecu jumper off ebay. big mistake. as soon as i installed it, CEL and Limp Mode. some how the crank pos sensor and o2 sensor wiring were spliced together on the jumper. i emailed the seller, and his response:

we are not technically inclined about this product. we highly suggest you have a professional install it. we buy them cheap and resell them, we know nothing else about them.

so i made my own and threw the one from eBay in a shelf of crap wiring. but now, going 2 weeks strong with no CEL!!!!! no more code 43. turns out it was the jumper i had gotten from my buddy (o2 sensor wiring was spliced so many times, must have been giving a bad signal).
