Does anyone out there have any tips on how to keep my car cooler in the summer? I don't have a/c. Even on the coolest setting on the climate control, its still warm air, so i have to turn it all the way off and close the vents. Driving with the windows open all the time gets annoying on the ears. (especially on the highways).

 

You may want to look into installing an A/C system.

haha this is similar to my thread.
even down in texas, i somehow make SOME days bearable. before i go somewhere, i make sure a few hours prior to it, i put the windows down a tad bit and open the sunroof (since warm air rises, it helps a bit), put that ugly window deflector thing on! so if its not TERRIBLY hot outside, then as long as you drive at a DECENT speed and avoid traffic, the temperature shouldn't be that bad!
have an icey cold drink too, and i mean ICEY

 

It's funny when you look at buying a Civic that 90% have no a/c. People are so dumb, keep your ac unless it's A) a track car or B) unable to fit do to engine swap or turbo components. Ok enough ranting, just install an a/c system.

 

What all conponents will I need to install a/c?

 

Or C) It was a factory option. It never came with it.

 

Add A/c.
I'm from Ga and i would NEVER get a car without it.

 

Kind of hard to keep something you never had...
