No more radio
I have a 95' Integra LS. Me and my friend were taking out the stock cassette player and putting in a pioneer head unit. We had everything hooked up and I turn the car on and put a CD in and everything was OK. Then I turned to the radio and smoke started coming out from behind the head unit and now the radio doesn't work anymore. And niether does my antenna. But CD's still play fine. My friend says "Maybe we fried your antenna cable."
What the hell does that mean? Could that be the problem? If so, is Acura the best/only place I could purchase a new one?
Any info will help. Thanks.

no power goes thru your antenna so that in not what is wrong. as far as playing cds but no radio i am not too sure, does the face lightup? did the smoke pour out for a second and then stop? please describe your problem a little more in detail and hopefully someone could help. does the pioneer have a warrenty?
Yea, smoke came out for a second but I shut if off right away and it stopped. And yes the face still lights up. But as for the warranty, I got it from a friend, it came in his Integra and he was upgrading.
