89 si.. z6 block..y8 head..what dizzy do i use? i need a parts list for this project from someone WHO KNOWS 100 PERCENT WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.. i already have the complete block and complete head just trying to figure out what i need next.. please and thank you..

i have a 89 si with z6/y8,y8 intake,ls trottle bodie....u need the y8 housing with the z6 guts,odb1 jumper for the ecu and dizzy.wire in the v tec and relocate the colant temp sensor wires.get y8 head studs exept for the one close to the vtec siliod...u need a z6 stud.u can buy what u need from arp already ready..i run my timing a lil advanced.i have a lsd in the si trans and this car woops *** on the streets..(i need to rebuild now from abuse)

what dizzy? and by guts i assume you meen ecu guts and housing.. couldnt i just use a p28 with a rewire harness?

I would use the td-42u dizzy. Which is the 92-95 civic d16z6 dizzy.You will have to modife it to fix right. Or you can do what cowboy said use the y8 dizzy casing and put all z6 internals inside. You can use the a6 dizzy as well but then you have to use either a vtec controller or a pr3 ecu which is dohc vtec ecu and get it tuned for single cam vtec instead of dohc vtec.

i heard over at superhonda that i can use the d15b7 dizzy. am i supposed to match the ecu with the dizzy?

pr3 is the b16 si ecu isnt it? i just wreaked the sht out of one of those lol

yea pr3 is b16 ecu. You can use a obd0 pr3 ecu and your dizzy of 89 si. But you have to get ecu chipped and tuned. Xenocron can do all that or maybe your local tuner.
The tuning program to tune it is called BRE. Go to xenocron website and check them out.
