Default My new money (love) pit

I bought this from a dude on B20 and this has been my progress so far.... It came with a mildly built(low comp. JE pistons,Eagle rods,ARP hardware,Moroso oil pan tapped for turbo but plugged for now until ready) b18b1/YS1, Skunk2 IM/typeR TB,2 1/4 exhaust and a 92 Integra dash?yeahhh its in there and its niceeeee haha. Body needed some TLC so ive been in the process of doing that, cracked molding on EK sideskirts and wheel flares?well yeah they were on it, had a birdbath thrown into the one side and i dont think they look so bad but whatever . It had a bad motor mount, fixed.Made some minor repairs, the wheel bearing was a bitch but its done now. I will be making this my own and hopefully having it be unrecognizable to what it was originally when i got it. It had a broken rear center garnish, replaced now. Wheels were painted black, im stripping them of the grossness. I think they look better. I bought new amber corners and some used amber bumper lenses, these were all over sprayed. I've been looking for taillights because mine were abused during and after the paint process the PO did.Im painting the gutted interior copper so im covering the red with aluminum so it covers better. Im sticking with a similar color on the outside just in semi-gloss not flat. Re-painting all moilding on the car gloss black, ****ing overspray! I have a new pedal set coming. IDK, i have not owned an EF for over 6 years so im so excited for this one. ill keep this updated....im going to go boost eventually, have a kit already just missing some components, not exactly sure. ill post pics of it all later maybe you guys can steer me in the right direction of what i need.

Need some wheels that actually make your fender flares worth it....

The flares are only still there because its cheaper to just fix the one side to match the undamaged side so its presentable but they will be coming off eventually. New wheels are on the list of "things to-do" just not very high up there. Thanks for the comments guys...updates next week.

so i think this car is not what it seemed.....i guess thats what can happen when you dont know as much as you should....but i have a bunch of white smoke, maybe a ton, and a burning oil smell. My idle sometimes flats from 1000-1300 after the car has been running for a while and driven. Head gasket?coolant leaking causing a misfire? is there a way i can test what this problem could be instead of just assuming? should i do a compression test and a leakdown test? do they even matter for what i am trying to accomplish? i just do not know so help would be appreciated. on a lighter note i got my rear wiper delete plug and some stickers<----at least a 12hp gain, lol

Could be a head gasket, check your oil on your dipstick and make sure its not brown sludge, do a compression test and if two cylinders right beside each other are low, it could be head gasket. Also, when you do your compression test, after you pull the spark plugs shine a flashlight down onto the piston tops. If one or more are shiny and not carbon covered, you almost certainly have a head gasket problem.

^^Thanks very much for the info. ill perform a test tomorrow when i have another person handy and acquire a tester. should i once over my iacv/fitv/IM? probably huh? the high bouncing idle only happens after i run the car in the upper rpm range and my fuel pressure is right around 40,not that i think that has much to do with anything just trying to give as much info as i remember or come across it. Thanks again guys!

So my oil pan has a slow leak and the oil drips onto my headers. now these headers have a small crack in one of the upper y welds, these are smashed pretty good underneath also, so i think they might have a crack where the oil drips letting it into my exhaust....still going to do a compression test tomorrow and see what happens...
