I have a 97 EX coupe d16 Turbo stock internals, ground control/koni set up. Rides like it's on rails. But i have reached a point where the car is just not fitting in w/ my "image" if you will.

I've been looking at bimmers, 330CI ZHPs to be exact. While they are beatiful, they are also about 17K, which i can afford but really don't want to. Also i travel every week, so the car would sit at an airport

After thinking about it, the only thing that really pisses me off about my civic is my exhaust, steering wheel, and turbo manifold crack... After thinking about it, i think if i spent <2K on my civic (call it "maintenence") i would be happy with her until her wheels fell off (there is also some rust on the back right 1/4 panel which sucks..)

To fix my turbo mani, i just need time to take it off and get welded - Semi Easy/Cheap Fix

Here are my two main questions:

1. I want a quiet exhaust. I have 2.25 piping ghetto custom job to a megan muffler, so i wouldn't mind buying a full cat back. The main thing though is that it has to be QUIET! I want no ricer sound coming from my car at all. Whats out there to be bought?

2. My steering wheel is too big, and it's worn so i have a cover on it. I want to get a shorter steering wheel 13.5 or so that is from another car. But i need it to have airbags, and they have to work with my car. What steering wheel is short enough and has compatible airbags for a 97 EX Coupe?

That's basically it, sorry for the long *** post, i could have made it shorter, but i wanted to see what you guys thought.

 

!. Check Youtube to actually hear an exhaust. I don't know why people ask what is quiet when you can't actually HEAR it. Also search. You're not the first to ask this question. The WS2 seems to be the hands down favorite. But don't take my word for it.
