Default Courtesy Light

My passenger side door courtisy light hasn't worked since I got the car.

Car:

1991 Honda Accord LX 2 Door Coupe

Here's what it does:

Already Checked
  • Fuse is good since driver side works.
  • There is no power to the light socket or wire at all.
  • The light is good becuase I swapped it with the other light.

Question:
  • Is there a switch for the light or does it run off of the door switch that turns on the light inside the car?
  • Where do the wires from the light go? Do they go under the hood or do the travel under the dash board.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

The switch is in the b pillar. The wire runs down the b pillar and you need to pull the sill cover(plastic cover in the door opening) and the b pillar cover to find the connector. I'm not sure how long the wire is.

If you find the switch, try pressing it a listen for a click. It should pop out when the door opens.
