Hey guys,

I've got a 94 Del Sol and am having trouble finding a radiator that doesn't hit the hood. I've tried a replacement from the local parts store Advance & O'reily's and i've tried an ebay generic aluminum. All hit the hood; the cap specifically.

I'd really rather not chop out a square of honeycomb under the hood...
Does anyone have any good experience with any brand named aftermarket radiator's?

 

Question for you. Why does a stock radiator, from Honda, for a Del Sol, not fit under the hood?

 

Is this true?? When I bought the car it had a different aftermarket ebay aluminum radiator and it didn't fit.

Honda wants $500 for a OEM radiator... and that wouldn't even fit!?

 

Damn man, you should shop around a bit. I bought my last B16 del sol twin core rad used from a jdm supplier for $50, fit perfect

 

you are doing something very very wrong maybe have a tech look at it

 

Is there any damage to the rad support?

 

What about brands like fluidine, or koyo... mishimoto? Does anyone know if anything like that fits?

I have no idea where I can find a jdm radiator around here... Would prefer something new.

 

No damage that I can see. As far as I know, the car has never been in any accident whatsoever.
