ok guys gonna be a lil hard to explain but im going to try my best! I just got a 1990 sir1 swapped dx hatchback. now yes before you all ask it does have a cel not quite sure on why or what and idk how to check it!(new to all this ef obd0 ****) but the car runs great pulls reasonably hard for a stock b16a. now my problem is no matter what gear or rpm trying to hold a steady speed like 1/4 throttle wel say it keep sputtering, like bubbling sound in the exhaust and has no power till i go half throttle or more. now idk what the hell is going on but if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

 

maybe plug wires..not to sure tho since it happens at any rpm

 

i would check the codes and get those resolved. There is a 2 pin plug in the underdash on the passenger side that you can jump with a paperclip that will display the codes via a blinking led in the center of the ecu, which is also on the passenger side behind the carpeting.

 

throwing a code for 8 which is tdc sensor and the other 23 which is knock sensor! anyone know how to resolve these problems?

For starters, make sure that the knock sensor is hooked up.
