h22 tranny swap problem??? help anybody??
just swapped my f22b tranny out and put in my m2f4 h22 tranny into my 96 accord now my car sounds like crap and barely moves the most i can get out of it is 40 miles/hour and my battery keeps getting drained...so i switched my tranny back but same outcome...dont know wassup any inputs/info thanks...
Descriptive....
Well your battery draining is probably related to either the charging system or something drawing power when it shouldn't. When the car is running the voltage across the terminals should be 14.4V.

yea its does read any where from 12.0 to 14.0 on my battery terminal...but i had a h22 tranny m2f4 and decided to swap it in my 96 accord so i did everything correctly from what i remember disconnect and unbolt the clutch cables, speed sensor, clutch cable, slave cylinder, the starter a few bolts on top the 6 under from the block and rear mount remove the tranny with out a problem pop the H tranny in and repeat the process again backwards and then when i go to start it just sound off and really crappy when i went on ahead and drove it around the block it barely picked up any speed and the top speed on both tranny since i pop it off has been 40 and thats when i floor it i pretty sure if i hold the gas down long enough it would exceed 40 but who know how long that would take
Yea I was thinking that you think its not all the wasy in? It might be a possibility becuz I didn't have a tranny jack to make it easier I used one of my smaller jacks it was pretty difficult to get it that way...

everyone knows if ur gonna swap a tranny, might as well swap a new set of clutch n throwout bearing also, so much easier all at once, check ur ground cable in front of the tranny if its on with a 10mm nut
Yea I know that I might as well throw in a new clutch kit but finacially my pocket says no. I took the clutch apart replace the pressure plate with an extra I have the clutch had plenty of life left. So yea I'm using my stock axles and midshaft if that has anything to do with it clutch cables are fine shift with no problem (m2f4 is back in) the ground cable in front I needa make one because my stock one didn't have it and my battery is relocated...thanks for the help everybody this is the first time I ever had this problem so I am really puzzled...
