So a couple of weeks ago I had a shop install a complete C1 swap into my EK and more times than not I am feeling a sort of sputtering or boggin'-out feeling at approx 2500-3000 rpm. Air/Fuel issue :s
After 3000rpm the power and acceleration is fine.
I have been suggested to get a wideband & aftermarket fuel rail or Type R fuelrail; running too rich I have come to understand.

Any additional ideas are welcome thanks

 

Define "complete".

 

Complete swap:
Head & block,transmisson,axles,ecu, etc...everything needed to convert an EK dseries to the bseries.

 

your problem has nothing to do with a fuel rail. did they do a tune-up on the motor when they installed it? (cap, rotor, plugs,etc)

 

New cap,rotor,seals,clutch,belts, water pump,mmm all I cam think of that was replaced. Plugs & injectors not
