Houston is a shithole. Also, be very careful. Lots of people get their cars jacked there.

From what I remember when I was living in Austin, there were quite a few really nice ITRs in the Houston area... but like other people have said, be very careful in Houston with that car.

I don't know if you take your car to the track - but Texas World Speedway isn't far from there and is great fun.

Try to rent a garage or some sort of secure parking along with security.. i hate to here people depend on insurance when it comes to theft especially knowing the circumstances we all have to live with in the community unfortunately.. They dont pay for sentimental value.. GL

^^^ this guy is not lying. If your car is not parked in a garage, consider it gone in houston. I live about 1 hr south of houston with my ITR and it is still garage kept. I use to live in houston and have had 2 of my imports stolen from there. Keep it safe.

Depending on how long you're staying, you might be able to hit up one of the gymkhana events here in angleton, tx. The track location is called MSR Houston. Its about a 40 min drive from houston but its well worth it. Plenty of seat time with hardly any cost.

Shoot me a pm if interested and i'll give you my number.

I live in the woods up north here somewhere. My car is garaged in the country on a farm on some dirt road. I have guns, dogs and lotsa friends in the local sherrifs department. Ive owned my R since 2001 and knowing what I know, I'd still Never tell anyone where I was even close to exactly or where I'd ever be or store my car.

Just some advice. These things Still get stolen. I don't trust Anyone. Especially Not on the net.

sucks that we R owners have to resort to this, i feel that people who are around me are fairly trustworthy and honest.
thanks greyteg!
i joined this forum with open arms because i am a sucker for meeting new people and enjoying life by exploring, but now i have my eyes wide open to new areas. Though everyone i run into are always polite and very nice
