whats the right way to bleed clutch
i have changed the master and slave cylinder for 92 civic ,but the clutch come up slowly and weak. How i bleed it is,press clutch 10 times and hold it down, than release the bleeder bolt, than close it.I repeat it several times.is that the correct way
u might have a leak. did u bleed it with the cap off or on?? also when bleeding do u have a vacuum hose submerged in a can of brake fluid??
taking a hose from the bleeder screw and submerging the end in a little bit of brake fluid will show you whether you still have air in the lines i.e bubbles will come out of the hose with the old fluid. make sure you check the level in the reservoir every couple times
plus it guarantee's no air goes into the lines.
Make sure brake fluid is full, pump clutch 5-10 times, hold it down, loosen the nipple then tighten. Repeat that 5-10 times. Submerging makes things precise but you don't really have to do it and it shouldn't effect your clutch as much as you are saying.
