95 accord back windows don't work
95 accord lx, my back windows wont go down or up. I have 2 known working regulators, I checked the fuses, does anyone else have/had this problem and can give me an idea of what to look at?
Is the problem with the main switch or on the doors themselves? I had problems with my driver side window switch. The window went down but not back up. I found that the switch failed and just replaced with another one.
I'm experiencing the same problem on my '94 Accord Sedan which is the passenger rear window. It doesn't work anymore. I got one from the JY and installed it and still didn't work. I have power to the connector from the harness side where you plug in the window motor regulator but still doesn't work either.
I'm a little puzzled and hasn't got to it yet as I've been busy. I heard there's fusible link inside the motor??? Not sure though.

It could also be the regulator itself. To be on the safe side, if you can get a dummy connector from the junkyard and use a battery for power to test regulator. I used to work in a auto plant and that's how we tested the regulator before connecting the main wire harness. That's all I can think of. I'm not familiar with voltage testers or multimeters. Good luck.
I checked the fuses and I got the back passenger one to work, but no luck with the driver's passenger. im going to the junk yard tomorrow so I'll pick up a clip and test the regulator. Anyone know which color cable is power and which one is ground? they're bothe blue...

I'm not being sarcastic to offend you I'm seriously asking the question.
Phoot, I know what a multimeter is, I just don't know how to use it. As for polarity, we flip the battery to go down. Yes I did work for GM and Toyota in California. I'm in no way offended. I'm not an electrician. I'm just average joe that worked in manufacturing. If you ask about a Toyota Corolla or Pontiac Vibe part, I most likely know where it belongs on the cars.
I don't know why you guys are getting excited for, but if that blows your skirt it's all good. LOL.

It's all good. Just trying to help out since you helped me out. I will tell you this. In case you haven't noticed, but Honda, Toyota, and most of the auto industry have been shortening the lives of their products. My Corolla has rubber weatherstrips that are always shrinking. On the 96 accord, it's solid. Just saying.

The nature of the world market and competition is causing this. To actually turn a profit and sell these highly advanced cars they cut corners on quality and durability. It's shameful. I think in the end they will find that it was the wrong approach. The automakers should have focused more on quality and durability and marketed the vechiles appropriately. They would have had no problem selling them.
