whats up guys new to the forum not to civics first attempt at an engine swap

ok i have a special edition lightweight eg coupe. this was a 1.5 non vtec i bought a vti-s with the b18c4 motor and lsd ive removed both engines and droped the b18 into the coupe nearly have it ready to start.

what im worried about is will it start? the motor is obd2 with obd1 style plugs i have a p30 ecu which i am going to use. when i get everything all connected will the p30 run the motor? as my car was obd1 i didnt have to change the dash loom. so the ecu plugged in ok.

any help appreciated

 

yes it'll run the motor. You probably want to get it chipped/socketed and run a B18C4 basemap.

im gona get her socketed and chipped after i get her running theres a jap show on this saturday where im from want to have her there!! there aint to many egs in wi no rust and in good shape over here!!

my car isn wiried for the vtec will i have to run a seperate wire for the vtec?

i see you sell the conversion harnesses i might know a few guys be interested !
