Default Just short, HIGH SOHC HP CONTENT

Alright so it isn't like the Shenanigans car or anything like what Speed Factory just laid down with their current set up but for some stock sleeves I'm guessing it's right on the edge of wanting to explode. On Sunday I took my car up to PFI in Ft. Collins CO and had Brent Leivestad help once again with tuning my SOHC. I had just slapped a fresh motor together since I had several mishaps all at once in one of our events here last year and figured I'd see how it held up. No torque numbers cause once again dynojets tach pick up sucks. Ended up just 1 hp shy of Speed Factorys stock sleeve vitara motor which I believe holds the record

The set up is as follows

75mm bore vitara
std length eagle h beams
shelf arp studs
supertech springs and retainers
foward facing manifold made by me and tig welded by PFI_Nayr_one
ball bearing 6262 t3 .82
PFI d2b kit with Liberty faceplated gsr trans and handcuff

When do you see full boost on the 6262 and how high are you revving the motor?

Good number, and you have a sweet trans setup so it should fly. Good luck with it this weekend!

I have to ask why you are using SAE correction factor at your altitude on a boosted car though. I'm guessing that with a stock cam and only 26psi on the parts combo listed that you are at ~510-530whp uncorrected, so the sleeves may hold for a decent while.

What fuel/size injectors/fuel system and duty cycle were you at on that run?

Thanks, I'd really like to run a 9 on stock sleeves. Not sure why it was on sae but it was right at 510 uncorrected. E-85, precision 1200's, inline and intank walbro 255s, stock lines, 77 % on the duty cycle.
