I replaced the A/C Compressor and I need to add PAG oil. Do I add the oil via the lines/service ports or pour it directly into the compressor itself before pulling vaccuum on the system? High side or Low side? Ive read the procedure can vary on different compressors. The Honda service manual doesn't specify where to add oil, just how much.
ac service cart machines have the ability to inject oil into the system via the service ports, so i assume that adding it directly to the compressor is not always necessary. but i cant answer your question as to wether you can just pour it down the service ports. i'm guessing no

You can buy bottles (not pressurized cans) of PAG oil which are intended to pour into components that you replace.
I read here that you are supposed to pour it into the high side port of the compressor.
