Default Hey guys new to Honda-tech

Hey juss wanted to say i like this website alot... I'm 15 years old and i have been a part of Club SI for like a year and a half i have read this site for a while just never bothered to register. I am choosing between 3 cars... A GSR sedan, A civic hatchback w/ motor swap, or a Mitsubishi eclipse GS-T/X. I know your saying man thats a lot of money for a 15 year old but i have money from a law suit a while back... anyway what wouldu guys choose im leaning towards the GSR though sleeper style

Uh. I would not get a DSM, they are reliability nightmares, and I don't think you can afford to buy a new tranny (or motor if it's a 2G) right after buying a car.

The hatchback would be a sleeper too, IMO. What kind of swap does it have? You gotta consider that, plus what you want to do with it, price, condition, yadda yadda.. and of course which one you would like to be riding around in more.

As you can see I chose to pimp the 4 door.

Well I would wait for a while and figure out what you really want. Your are really young and can probably change your mind in a sec. So I would hold on for just a bit and do some reaserch and figure out what best fits your needs.

Welcome.

Take advantage of the search forum. Before posting a question, run a search. If you can't find something, run another search with a better keyword. Sit around and do lots of reading. Try not to post "I heard...blablabla" "somebody told me..." type posts.

You'll learn alot, you just have to sift thru some BS occasionally. Don't contribute to the BS and people will like ya. Take care.

Oh, and club SI sucks. That's all.

No pics of my car. But there are 4door pics in the Appearance forum, and someone is currently working on a 4dr teg site. You will do well with the teg or the hatch; the hatch is lighter, but the teg might have more creature comforts (power locks/windows, AC, PS). Also depends on what looks better to you.
