Default I want head work done, but where is the best place to do it?

I live in GA and I want to get headwork done on my GSR motor. Port and polish and a valve job. I don't mind shipping out, but would prefer not to in order to save money. Any good places? Also, what is the highest or best route I can take as far as angles and what not. I want the most done when I do it.

Call them and ask them what they want shipped. Head, IM, & header, is typical if you want them port matched.

Tom will know exactly what to do, that japanese dude has done so many varieties its unbelievable. For the exotic camshafts, you don't even have to tell him valve spring install height, he has all the specs already.

I run many of his heads in customers cars, about 15 out of 16 are happy ...

You will want to have someone do this work that knows what they are doing. It is very easy to mess up the stock head and get yourself into a worse situation that you currently are in. There is no such thing as a standard port and polish since this is generally a custom operation.

You will also need to know (and tell the guy doing the porting) what you want and what other parts you are using or plan to use. DPR is very well known for their work and will get you the setup you are looking for.
