Ok here is a question for u honda gods out there. electrical problems dont really scare me. I like all the wires and jumbled **** of a mess. however....time i dont have.

Found a Si body i have a s model. 1.5 manual. will the dash harness work from the si?? the owner before me completely @$$ raped this dash harness. i figure it would be cheaper to just switch out harnesses. and then go from there with any other problems.

I know one is an Si and one is base model but since 92% of EVERYTHING else swaps i am hoping this works as well.

If they're both '93 - '95 manual Del Sols or both '96 - '97 manual Del Sols then yes.

 

Or, equally, if they're both automatics from those years, presumably.

Actually, you might be able to use an automatic *dash* harness on a manual - you'd just have a bunch of extraneous plugs for the shift position lights. I can't think of any other notable differences... feel free to correct me. I'm not a del sol expert by any stretch!

 

He had mentioned his was an automatic, but yeah exactly

IF they're like the Civics the yes you can, for the dash harness (IE the one that runs from the underdash fuse panel to the gauge cluster and climate control) if it's the underdash harness then no (well not unless you want to modify it)

ok thanks guys for the help. fised it. Problem was a bullshit flea market alarm.....

As an installer myself i hate cut corners and cheap equipment.
