Benifits Vs. Cost Of Going C.O.P.
Right now I am starting to put the GSR back into my Wagon.
And i need to get a new dizzy.
So ive been thinking about the cost of a new Honda Dizzy, VS gathering the pieces to convert over to Coil on Plug.
I dont know too much about it, and ill of the places if read are throwing out words, letters, and numbers that are way over my head!!
SO what are the benifits of going COP?
What are the disadvantages?
What all parts do you need?
Cost?
Thanks Honda gods!

Right now it is just an Stock Block, 100% rebuild, with ARP rod bolts and head studs. OEM everything else.
Right now she is all stock. But i will be going Boost within 3 months or so.
As for management? I have a P28 With a stock tune plus a 4000 2 Step... so nothing

There are tons of cars using a oem dist making over 500 hp.COP should only be added to the equation if you start having issues.I dont know what the cost of the newer hondata setup is but using the M&W or AEM stuff will run close to a grand if not more.Thats just for the cop setup then add the engine management on top of that along with tuning it isnt cheap.
Don't buy an aftermarket autoparts store distributor. Only use oem honda parts. (Cap, rotor, coil, plug wires).
