Default OEM S2000 car cover

Does anybody actually have one? I hear they offer better protection to the paint and fit better than the ebay ones. Anyone have any real life experience with oem vs. ebay (aftermarket) covers on the s2000?

What would you pay for a good conditioned used OEM car cover?

$75-$100 would be a fair price on a used OEM one. If you're gonna go aftermarket, I like the Covercraft brand.

yup... the covercraft all weather ones will run around 250-350. Very good reviews though.

I have an OEM cover it fits perfectly so as long as you only have factory accessories such as the factory wing or lip.

The back side of the cover is soft so it doesn't scratch the paint as long as your car is clean to begin with.

Just search ebay or s2ki for sale threads, you can find them used for around 100ish.

ok, I just picked one up for $150 delivered. I couldn't bargain them down any further but it's all good. It's oem, came with the s2000 matching bag and even fits despite 18x10 in the rear. It's just snug. Thanks. I'm suprised that they are so cheap for an s2k. I know the EM1 civic si accessories are more expensive but I guess because those are now discontinued from the dealer...?

You're exactly right. I had to pay $300 for an OEM cover for my Integra Type R, but I was able to pick one up for the S2k around $80. After they're no longer available at the dealer, the OEM S2k car covers will most likely join the older, discontinued models in that $200-$300 range.

Damn now I feel like I've overpaid. Smh, I should have researched it more.
