Default CEL light on... Code 6 and 43

I just recently finished a mini me swap (b7/z6 head) I have yet to find a p28 ecu and haven't wired the vtec up yet. As I was test driving it yesterday, the CEL came on. I checked and code 6 and 43.

Code 6 I understand is for ect sensor. But this code 43 (fuel supply) is more difficult. I have a new o2 sensor so that not it. Could it be the wires? Because long story short, I had difficulty with timing tensioner bolt hole being stripped. Took it to a shop that heli coiled it for me and set timing and all that.

I purchased some cheap wires (vtec ones) from work to see if the car works before spending anymore money but the shop insisted on putting NGK wires on it. So they took the old NON vtec NGK wires and put them on there. They said all wires work the same.... Is this true or do you all think that the wires maybe triggering this code?

Not the wires. Fix the issues causing the CELs directly.

figured it out... o2 sensor was not tightened all the way (code 43) and (code 6) with the aftermarket header, o2 sensor being loosened, the tail end was hitting rad fan and causing the fan blade to not spin freely......

Didn't have to change anything.
