I just got a trunk popper installed on my del sol and it doesn't lift my trunk up when I push th button. Anyone know where I can get some lifts strong enough to lift my trunk when I press the button? I have a sPoiler too by the way. I am sure many of u ran into this problem delmsol drivers.

 

So which is it? The trunk popper doesn't pop the trunk OR the trunk doesn't fly up after the trunk is popped? I don't know about Sols but when I pop the trunk from inside the car it opens. It doesn't open all the way but it opens. I have a spoiler too by the way.

 

Are you saying you want the trunk lid to go all the up by itself when you hit the release, -or- that the trunk is sill locked/closed when you hit the release?

 

Sorry to confuse you guys I want the trunk lid to lift when I hit the button. Where can I get some super strong shocks? I have a spoiler that might be weighing it down. I went to kragens the other day and those ones were too weak. I am going to return them today but yeah anyone know the solution?

 

With the weight of the trunk and spoiler, finding shocks that fit will be difficult. I say scratch that idea and deal with lifting the trunk by hand...unless you don't have hands. But then again, you shouldn't be driving if you don't have hands. LOL

 

we all know del sols don't have a trunk pop next to te driver.
Heh it isn't a lazy thing. My new remote trunk popper is weird when I press it it will click and I have 2 seconds to pick it up before it locks again. So the solution I am thinking... if I have stronger lifts when I Press it it will lift up and therefore won't lockinge on me. eliminating the issue of the 2 second limit to pick up the trunk

 

I'm assuming you want this feature when you put groceries in the trunk? If it's not for that reason, I wouldn't even bother. BTW, I had a del sol before. Having no lever to pop the trunk is lame. Thanks Honda Motor Company.
