Ok i have a D15 engine now sure what exactly but i recently bought a JDM D15 vtec head my question is what all will i need in order to intstall the head an have vtec along with it.

 

wireing v tec and get the right ecu... ,might as well replace headbolts water pump,tensioner,and belt and all gaskets

 

oh and you have to get the right dizzy also

 

i already got the right dizzy i forgot to mention that sorry something tells me that the ecu is gonna be the hard one of those items to get so i just gotta get the water pump new head bolts an tensioner belt an gaskets so im looking at about 500$ total cause i only buy new stuff. lol may buy off the net but it would have to be a very reliable site.

 

arp's=125 at most,get a head gasket from honda if you want good quality,or find one of here,timing kit and water pump...ya 3-500 depending if you have to convert to odb1.i wonder what ecu the d15b uses....i used a auto p28,i just had to unsoughter a resitor but works great

 

lol its going in to a 91crx so its already obd1 i think lol. But thanks i think i still have my waterpump from my old Dseries i never installed it cause i blew it up lol. im sorry what arp mean. still new to this stuff lol.

 

aw hell! jkjk no if its stock then its odb0 but if its swaped then ya it might be odb1...you can tell from the color of the plugs..arp sells headstuds and rod bolts (super strong)
